Role Purpose:

This role primarily to work on all the aspects of Oracle Fusion Applications Projects and Procurement modules. This role involves providing user support in projects and procurement modules, changes to configuration if required to meet the changing needs of the business and completion of Projects implementation

The consultant will work closely with functional team and other technical team members to coordinate the work and support functioning of Oracle application.

Possess good knowledge on Projects and Procurement configuration and functionality and their interaction with other oracle modules

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • The “Oracle Fusion Projects” consultant will provide functional and configuration knowledge & manage client relationships within context of the individual role

  • Work closely with the Project functional and IT Technical Teams

  • Prepare and maintain solution documentations for Oracle Fusion Project

  • Quality check / assurance for the solution/code developed by external consultants

  • Functional solution design and development work on modules / products

  • Review, evaluate, analyze and participate in planning for such projects

  • Quality assurance of the delivery and production movement for the configuration

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among the team

  • Responsible for preparation & maintenance of all the documents related to functional work by self or the team

Definition of Success

  • Decrease in the number of support tickets raised in the areas that will be handled

  • Increase the number of process efficiencies brought in the areas of projects and procurements systems routine support and operations.

  • Decrease in the number of manual business process handoffs

  • Increase in the process effectiveness with the help of process controls measures and governance initiatives established

  • Increase the use of new technologies / implementations / innovations

Other Context (if applicable):

  • Willing to work extended hours after work as needed for critical operation support

Functional Competencies:

  • Cost analysis & cost engineering experience

  • Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis, Cost Forecasting and Cost Analysis

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Construction Management or related degree

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Construction Management, Cost Control and Project Control processes and system functioning.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Primavera P6 components

  • Knowledge of ERP/EPM is a plus

  • Strong understanding project and portfolio management business processes

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Be proactive and possess strong client facing skills

  • Team player

  • Experience within the Project & Portfolio Management processes

  • Bachelors / Master’s Degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or a related field

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in Oracle Applications Project Fusion

  • At least 6-8 end-to-end implementation project experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Projects and Procurement modules with respect to configurations and integration with other modules

  • Advantageous: Oracle Primavera Unifier - implementation, functionalities, OBIEE; P6 implementation projects and operations support.

  • Working experience on other procurement/sourcing solutions and integrations is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion – Projects & Procurement domain is required
