Job Role: We're seeking an AX/D365 Data Migration Techno-Functional Specialist for a crucial Retail client of ours on an initial 6-month contract, with a potential extension. The client has migrated to D365 from AX and aims to transition their existing AX + SQL Datawarehouse reports/dashboards to D365 + Azure Datawarehouse.
Your primary responsibility will be managing the entire ETL pipeline in collaboration with the project team. Additionally, you will support the existing installations of AX and Dynamics 365 in terms of any new development, testing and deployment of cutomizations.
Responsibilities:
Successful D365 F&O Data Migration delivery
ETL from D365 environment to Azure data landscape
Develop AX/D365 customizations as per business requirements
Integrate AX/D365 with various external systems
Applying customizations and hotfixes to AX/D365
Finding, troubleshooting, and resolving issues reported by users
Skills/ Requirements:
8+ years of experience in AX/D365 projects
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience with ETL Technologies
Knowledge of AX/D365 data mapping
Data Warehousing techniques
AX/D365 integration using AIF, OData, custom services
Experience with MorphX Development Suite and X++
Experience of managing Microsoft SQL databases
