Experience Required: 6–8 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end functional testing of Retail POS systems to ensure they meet business requirements and user expectations for mobile and desktop solutions.

  • Validate POS functionalities such as sales transactions, inventory management, payment processing, returns, and reporting.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools like JIRA or similar platforms.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for regression and functional testing.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.

  • Collaborate with development teams to identify test scenarios and automate repetitive testing tasks.

  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories.

  • Document test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.

  • Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

 Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Retail POS systems.

  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI is a plus.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in any test management tools like Jira-Zephyr, HP ALM, MS TFS

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.

  • Familiarity with retail industry standards and compliance requirements.

  • knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD).

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation
