Role Purpose:

  • The role of a Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead in the Retail, Entertainment, and Lifestyle industry is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and efficient orchestration of business processes using SAP Process Integration and Process Orchestration tools.

  • Ensuring System Stability: The primary purpose of the Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead is to ensure the stability and reliability of integrated systems during and after implementation. They oversee the integration of various systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth data flow across the organization.

  • Development and Technical Expertise: The Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead is responsible for leading the development and customization of interfaces, mappings, and orchestrations within the SAP PI/PO environment. They collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

 

Technical Leadership:

  • The Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams. They ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in PI/PO development and configuration.

  • Stakeholder Communication: The Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead communicates with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, provide updates on project status, and address any concerns.

  • They work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery of integration solutions.

  • Continuous Improvement: The Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead identifies opportunities for improvement in integration processes and tools. They assess system performance, gather feedback from stakeholders, and implement enhancements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of integration solutions.

  • Change Management: The Senior SAP PI/PO Track Lead manages changes to integration processes and configurations. They assess the impact of changes, plan their implementation, and ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.

 

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic roadmap for the SAP PI/PO track in alignment with organizational objectives. Identify key focus areas, initiatives, and goals to drive excellence and innovation in integration solutions.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of developers and technical experts within the SAP PI/PO track. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders to understand integration requirements and priorities. Build strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on technical matters related to SAP PI/PO.

  • Development and Customization: Oversee the development and customization of interfaces, mappings, and orchestrations within the SAP PI/PO environment. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in PI/PO development.

  • Integration Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for integration issues. Work closely with technical teams to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.

  • Change Management: Manage changes to integration processes and configurations. Assess the impact of changes, plan their implementation, and ensure smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in integration solutions. Implement enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of integration processes.

Required Background:

  • Master’s degree preferred, especially in Computer Science or Information Technology.

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in SAP integration and development roles.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, testing, and integration methodologies.

  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
